Modul 1 The Art of Sound Healing, Tuning Forks 2026
The practice of sound healing has its roots in various traditional cultures—including Indian, Tibetan, and Indigenous cultures—which have been exploring the influence of sound on health for centuries. We call this workshop “Immersion” into the world of sounds. Mindfulness plays a crucial role here and refers to the conscious awareness of the present moment. When using sound and tuning forks, it is important that both the sound therapist and the recipient are in a state of mindfulness. This enables a deeper connection with the sounds and promotes relaxation as well as awareness of one’s own body and mind.

With Dr. John and Thea Beaulieu, the founders of Biosonics. Brigitta and Andreas have been friends with Stimmgabeln since the early ’80s. For us, Biosonics are the “Steinway” of tuning forks. We experimented with John’s first tuning forks, and since the school’s inception, we’ve been teaching John’s “Human-Tuning” as part of our holistic naturopathy curriculum. Together, from 2010 to 2021, we taught Polarity, the Five Elements, and sound healing for one week each year at the Sivananda Yoga Retreat Center in the Bahamas. Singing, music, and sound play a central role in our families, on our travels, and in our training programs. As naturopaths and sound artists, we have been part of Switzerland’s pioneering generation since 1982 with our naturopathic practice and since 1992 with the SHN School. With our decades of experience and excellence in the theory and practice of energy medicine, we are committed to inspiring and enriching the participants in our workshops.
